About the Community

The Reserve at Chadds Ford is located in the heart of the beautiful Brandywine Valley. Consisting of forty-nine (49) estate style homes, the community is located in Birmingham Township, Chester County. Birmingham Township is the oldest Township in Chester County.

The post office address for the community is Chadds Ford while the school district is the award winning and acclaimed Unionville-Chadds Ford School District.

The developer of our community was Toll Brothers, a nationally recognized builder of luxury estate homes. The first home was settled in late 1993 with the last home to settle in 1996.

The community is governed by Covenants and Restrictions designed and intended to maintain the beauty of our community, and enforced by an Association Board of Directors.

Security in our community is taken seriously. Neighbors look out for neighbors and as Birmingham Township has its own professional police department, there are routine patrols made through our community. Further, if a resident will be away from home for a short or extended period of time, the police department upon proper notification in advance will inspect a resident’s property regularly.

The community is socially active through its annual volunteer day when neighbors come together to clean up our open space. An offsite holiday get together is held to allow neighbors to ring in the holiday season. There are also other social activities held occasionally throughout the year.
